Yves Saint Laurent - L’Homme

I purchased this over the weekend and I love it. For a brief stint in high school I would purchase a Lacoste deodorant which smells like you would expect: something a bit more sporty and sophisticated. But for the most part I’ve stuck with the average drug store stuff. Well I’ve been growing a bit tired of that and as my budget as begun to allow for a few more luxuries such as this, I decided to go looking for something new and different. I knew in my head I wanted something that wasn’t “manly” but something more elegant and refined. I had in my head that either Dior, Hermes, or YSL would probably give me something along those lines. The Dior line was ok, but not too memorable. Hermes was a big disappointment. It was very citrus-y and and really didn’t like it. But the YSL was perfect. Not too strong or weak, it is a very pleasing smell and didn’t smell like burning wood or other weird smells I guess would be deemed “manly”.
