Makoto Tanijiri - House in Saijo

Tanijiri is a young Japanese architect who founded Suppose Design Office. The form is really beautiful and the strinking black exterior is a great juxtaposition against the typical suburban houses. The inside is equally amazing with its light filled rooms and beautiful decor. The exterior “mounds” around the property are actually the excavated dirt reshaped into hills which have sprouted grass and give the appearance of rolling fields from inside the home as well as provides privacy for the lower level.
